I Will Lose 50 lbs

I didn't want to put my actual weight here. Suffice it to say that I wish to lose 50 pounds. Not all of that is baby weight. If I lost 20, I would be where I was before I got pregnant with Ivy. Unfortunately, at that time I was still carrying an extra 15 pounds from being pregnant with Eden. I know that doesn't add up to 50, but if I'm gonna do it, I might as well go for gold.

Now the weight (har har) of public accountability should be able to help me. But I cannot do it alone. Please stay on my rather large rear to help me make sure I succeed.

Re: Me, too...
Fantastic! Knowing someone else is out there doing the same thing will help me keep motivated! My beloved, Josh, tries his best, but the man exercises like I read. He does it all day every day. It's hard to feel that comraderie with someone who doesn't *struggle*.

I will need something to call you, though, so I can refer to my partner in crime.

Re: Ticker
Hello and thank you for your comment on my blog. I have found some very interesting posts on yours.
As far as I know you have to re-do your ticker each time you loose at least that is how I currently do it.!!
Have a lovely day

:D
See, now that I know, I can help in the way that I help best: by being annoying and anal and making you stick to it. ;) hehehe.

So, we never talked about this, but does your spiritual path in any way perscribe your diet? I am a staunch advocate of the health effects of (what I call) 99% vegetarianism, which means you are a vegetarian except you include very, very small amounts of meat into the diet on an occasional baisis. At any rate, a pro-vegetable, low-meat, anti-HFCS, all-around pro-goddess diet is highly recomended by yours truly *cough* :D

Re: :D
Thanks, Melissa! I will continue to watch your progress.

Steph, believe it or not, I took those sort of things into consideration. I desperately DIDN'T want to post it here online. Now that I have, feel free to harangue me whenever necessary. Same with NaNoWriMo.

Re: :D
Sorry, Steph. OK, my spiritual path doesn't exactly affect my diet as much as my purse strings do. I did the vegetarian thing for quite a while, but I'm a meat girl at heart. I try not to buy anything that's been genetically tampered with, but sometimes I think maybe I just don't know who all is doing that.

I try not to eat a lot of pork, but I do enjoy it occassionally.

Me too
I could lose 50 pounds too. 30 would really make me happy, and 50 would be gold too for me. So hard to do it. If it were easy, we'd all be fit.
