Adopt - a - Family

A wonderful idea stolen from tru2myart, who is immensely wonderful and totally worthy of adopting (or friending):

I have realized how lucky I am to have my family right here on LJ. And as I've been replying to everyone and feeling myself glow it occurred to me how very much I want this to be real. There are so many of you who I'd like to introduce my kids to and who I know would love Josh. There are so many of you that I want to hug and kiss and call sister, brother...Mom. (And more *devious laugh*)

So I propose an Adopt-A-Family post. Whoever you are, wherever you, whether you have families large or small, I would like to adopt you and you to adopt us. I'd like the opportunity, even after the holidays, to write you and have you write us. To maybe visit someday. We're planning family vacations soon, I would be more than willing to plan many stops along the way. And you would be more than welcome at my very humble abode anytime. And maybe in the process some of you will adopt each other. Perhaps we can extend our families across the globe and those people who have no one, who are alone and lonely and in need of a warm heart, won't have to be alone anymore.

Just reply here and consider yourself a family member. You don't have to give out any information that you don't want to give, it's totally up to you. If you'd like the relationships to be strictly internet, that's fine. If you'd like more then that's good too. My email address is in my info, feel free to write me whatever you'd like, if you'd like. And as replies come in, feel free to talk to those who sound interesting to you. Maybe you'll find a long lost brother or sister or the missing piece of your heart that you've been looking for.

I don't know about you guys, but I can use all the family I can get. :Hugs her f-list:

If you want to leave personal info, such as an address, feel free to do it in this screened post. :)
