Does anyone have an awesome web host that they would eagerly recommend? Preferably one with domain name included.

Thanks! I looked at the site. Which plan do you have? I'm not sure how much space I'd need. I tried looking at your site, but I couldn't get it to load. :(

my website is www.futurefocuselectric.com
internet explorer does wonky things to it.. if it doesn't load, just click the back button and it usually loads right up...

we use the godaddy mostly for roger's remodeling business.. I've got several different plans.. one with more email addys, one with the webhosting, and one that just forwards to another site.. godaddy is versatile. You can always call tech support and they may be able to help you decide what services you might need for what you are trying to accomplish on the site. :)

Ah, that's weird. I still couldn't get it to work in IE, but I loaded it in firefox just fine. :P

Thanks a bunch! I'll look at it a bit more, and try to learn about a few other sites too.

Cuddly? Now that's sweet. I was thinking I'd get lucky if I could find native English speakers.

Thank you for the tip!

isphost.org he's great. you can host up to 5 domains (i think) and i've been late on my annual payments a kazillion times and he's always worked with me :-)

up time reliability is great unless florida is getting hit by unending hurricanes, too ;-)

Very cool! Thank you for passing it on. I like that they offer webdesign services, although I thought I'd try my hand at it first. Always good to have a fall-back though. ;)

I started using startlogic for the spirit gallery website, and I love their service. Not only did they regiser the domain for me, but you can log in any time and view all of your traffic sorted by hour and day, and they have a log of different IP addresses to see how many new viewers you got and when. It also lists how many links are to your site, and how people found you by search engines if they used them - incredible! They have different packages, and you can use their site to create and post your own site if you don't have a webwriter of your own. I didn't like their layouts, so I made my own and posted it using dreamweaver. Good luck!

Thank you! That does sound pretty cool, and it looks like a fairly good deal for a year's service.

Just throwing in my recommendation for Site5.net, they've been great to me so far, the basic plan is only about $7 a month. Very good administration console. Comes with unlimited email accounts on your domain, webmail, spam filters, and a tool tha t will install about a hundred different programs on your server. With a few clicks you can install a chatroom, forum, content management (drupal, joomla), wordpress or other blogging tools, etc. ( see list http://www.ebwaymedia.com/fantastico.htm), it sets up the databases and everything.
I have the SuperHostingExtreme package and run 5 domains and about 10 email addresses.

Ha ha ha, thanks! I particularly like "110 GB of pure web storage"! I don't know, for some reason it immediately made me think of a cage-match. Servers on Steroids really solidified that for me.

Yeah, i really like their attitude, it sounds like a fun place to work. Even their blog is fun to read.

I have my site up through yahoo, and I haven't had any problems. I've also been very lazy and not done much with it, so I don't really know the limitations.

I've seen it. :) I happened to notice your link change, although now I fear looking like a stalker. (In my defense, I was seeking out that Eris/Pluto link I'd sent you...rofl)
