2018 New Year's Resolutions

I quit doing NYR a few years ago because, well, because I always quit doing them. I really need to make some serious changes though, so I'm going to give it another goal. I'm being ambitious. Please help me stick with it!


1. Lose 40 pounds

2. Successfully complete Whole30 – AND a proper reintroduction

3. Establish a weekly exercise routine

4. Establish a weekly writing routine

5. Finish my novel!

6. Get more involved in fandom:

a) Write and post more stories to challenges
b) Comment on more fics

7. Be a better friend

8. Be a better wife and mother

9. Get back to learning the guitar

10. Read 52 books

11. Build an emergency fund and work on my finances

Whole30 Day 6

Had trouble falling asleep again last night. Not sure what's up with that. Have really good energy today though. Enthusiastically working on cleaning the house.

B: Red & sweet potato hash with two over-medium eggs and a handful of almonds

L: Not really hungry since my breakfast was so filling (and late – slept in on the weekends), but I forced myself to eat a compliant meal anyway.

Venison, baked potato with homemade salsa, handful of green olives

D: Pork steak, sauteed zucchini, homemade seasoned fries. No fat because my avocados are gone and I was too full anyway! Used lots of EVOO when I cooked, though.
