It only took weeks upon weeks of trying, but I finally caught a tiny paper egg!

And several of my recent dragons have gendered as male, which is exactly what I needed. It's a great dragon day.

Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today! Adopt one today!

Clicked yours! I was lucky enough to have someone gift me a paper several days ago. It's fogged right now so it doesn't hatch and make me locked up. I'm waiting on a transfer. :D

That little chick is being all annoying and stubborn. I just want it to grow up already!

Clicked! What do you mean locked up?

Some people use it to describe when they can't pick up any more eggs or hatchlings (or the term scroll locked). Right now I have an additional fogged white hatchling that's pending transfer, and I'll be getting another hatchling. Somewhere in there I need that chick to grow up though so that I have enough space. That's why I've got the paper fogged.

So if you fog it, it doesn't count towards your allotment? I'm not sure I understand. Sorry if I'm being a dolt here.

No no, that's alright. I'm not always the best at explaining.

If it's fogged, it won't hatch or mature (but it will die if it runs out of time). So if I have three eggs (one about to hatch) and four hatchlings (one about to mature), I'm locked because I can't pick up any eggs or hatchlings. If I fog the egg that's about to mature, and then that hatchling matures, I'm free to accept either an egg or a hatchling (with three eggs & three hatchlings). So my plan is to adopt the hatchling from a trade, and then unfog the paper so that it'll hatch. Then I'll have two eggs and five hatchlings.

Oh, okay, I think I get it now. I knew you could only have four eggs (five if you breed), but I got mixed up on the how many hatchlings & eggs you could have. I have this bad habit of trying to catch eggs and being told I can't. I suppose it's due to my number of hatchlings then, and not how many eggs I have. Good to know. Thanks!

Yeah, unfortunately it's four hatchlings or four eggs as the limit. Like you said, five if you breed. Sometimes I wish there was no limit and I could adopt ten eggs at a time because I'm so impatient for them to grow, lol.
