Whole30 Day 5

I could NOT sleep last night at all. I don't know if it's necessarily Whole30 related, but it's worth noting. Didn't fall asleep until about 1:30 am. Had great energy all day though, once I finally got up for good.

B: Skipped – slept late, then had a stressful morning.

L: Venison, baked potato with homemade salsa, handful of green olives

D: A (thick) slice and a half of roast beef, steamed broccoli with lemon, two slices salted tomato, and a handful of green olives (the bag of avocados that I JUST bought were all bad already!)

Latenight snack: 1 large orange

Ugh! I hate when that happens with avocados. They are expensive and you really can’t tell if they are good or bad. I feel like if I buy ones that are still green and pretty hard,
I have better luck ripening them on my counter, but there is still a short window between ripe and delicious and black and gross.

That really upset me, because that was my main source of healthy fats for the week! I bought the bag because it was cheaper than buying them individually. They felt good when I bought them, but one or two days later and they were all squishy and brown inside. UGH! That happens so often with my produce (or meat) from this store, but I just haven't had the cash to drive an hour to a better store for the handful of items I needed.
