Note: This is forcing me to clarify favorites. That may be hard. And because I'm really only 'fannish' about the top five, I'm just picking stuff I really enjoy.

2. Hatrack River series, Orson Scott Card
Because I really like the Kushiel's Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey and cannot narrow down one favorite from the series, I'm picking from each book. I cheat:
3. Kushiel's Dart (two character tie)
4. Kushiel's Chosen (again, tie)
5. Kushiel's Avatar (just one, ha ha)
6. Dr. Seuss (good luck with the favorite - I doubt it will be guessed)
7. The Old Testament (God doesn't count - He's everyone's favorite)
8. The New Testament (Jesus doesn't count either - Sorry, Christ - but it's a tie between two others)
9. Lord of the Rings
10. Memoirs of a Geisha
11. That 70s Show
12. The Simpsons -- Otto,mc_questionmark (tough call between him, Smithers, & Comic Book Guy)
13. A Hard Day's Night
14. Princess Bride
15. Labyrinth
16. The Goonies
17. Hercules (sci-fi version, not disney)-- Autolocus, the self-absorbed thief,mc_questionmark

I think my absolute favorite moment in ALL the books is when he asks Delauney if he wants to see his marque. *le sigh* gives me chills just thinking about it!
She sent me that link too, but I was just overwhelmed with discussion boards at the time. I saved it for the future, though.
I like that part too, but I'm not sure I could pick an absolute favorite part! It was hard enough narrowing it down to 1-2 characters per book.
