Apparently a couple days ago, he was laying on the couch reading and was bit several times by what they think was a spider. He had an allergic reaction and broke out into pretty bad hives. Dad said that his left arm started swelling up, so much that he thought it would burst, and he couldn't breathe, so he called my sister to come and take him to the hospital.
He said it got so hard to breathe, and he started feeling light-headed, so he tried to go unlock the door so my sister could get in, but he lost consciousness twice and had to crawl to the door. He called 911 and asked them to tell the doctors what happened and that he'd be coming in, and they told him to wait for an ambulance. Tina arrived and talked to the operator, and then dad started having a huge seizure. Dad said he thought he was going to die, saying his I love yous and everything. The medics arrived, and his blood pressure was 60-something/40.
Anyway, he's not sure what all happened but the stuck him a lot and managed to stabilize him enough to drive him out to the big Charlotte hospital. He's home now, but he said that his neck is still pretty swollen, and his bp is still too low. He said to feel free to send him any and all kind of healing, and he appreciates it. Thank you so much!
