Why I Love My F-List: Part 10

lolacat has been my friend for quite a while now. I think she was one of the first doula friends I found on livejournal. I was (and still am) struck by the quality of her writing. She's always so...coherent. She writes about her life and feelings, but does it so you can actually understand. As someone who's always feeling non-coherent when I try to get my point across, I really admire this. A lot of folks write about their day-to-day life, but it's boring or stagnant. lolacat shows me what it's like to be married, a grad student, hard at work on goals, etc., and yet she really investigates the situations and adds a level of reflection that makes it just good reading.

I love her posts on all things birthy. She's working on a paper about vaccinations right now, and has been sharing the preliminary research and asking for feedback. I really hope she shares the finished product, because she's super smart and those are something I really know little about. I learn about a lot of things from her journal that I probably wouldn't know of otherwise, and I'm always intrigued. She's also fairly frequent about posting pictures, and that's something I totally dig in a friend.

She's also funny, sweet, cute, and hasn't pissed me off even once so far. (lol!)

lolacat is fun!
